



Chevy SB/BB V8 HEI Distributor - All Black
The TSP HEI Distributor for the Chevrolet SBC and BBC is a self-contained large-cap HEI ignition upgrade covering the complete Gen. I Chevrolet small block V8 family and the Mark IV big block V8 family in carbureted applications. SBC fitment spans the full Gen. I displacement range — 262, 265, 267, 283, 302, 305, 307, 327, 350, and 400 CID. BBC Mark IV fitment covers the 396, 402, 427, and 454 CID standard-deck engines. The integrated HEI design combines the ignition coil, ignition module, cap, and rotor into a single unit, connecting to a single 12-volt source with no external coil, ignition box, or condenser required.
The 65,000-volt internal HEI coil delivers substantially stronger spark than a factory points-style distributor or a worn stock HEI unit, supporting easier cold starts, cleaner idle quality, and more consistent ignition performance from idle through the top of the RPM range. The magnetic pickup trigger replaces the mechanical points contact entirely and requires no routine maintenance. Both mechanical and vacuum advance are included, with a vacuum advance adjustment tool shipped with the distributor for advance curve tuning.
