The TSP Pro Series Ready-to-Run Distributor for the 1966–1967 Cadillac V8 is a precision ignition upgrade for carbureted 429 CID (7.0L) Cadillac applications from the 1966 and 1967 model years only. Built on a machined aluminum housing with a circuit board module and magnetic pickup trigger, this distributor provides accurate, repeatable ignition timing without the need for points, condenser, or a separate ignition control box.

The 1966–1967 Cadillac 429 powered the full Cadillac lineup in its final two production years before being replaced by the all-new 472 CID V8 in 1968 — covering the DeVille, Calais, Fleetwood, Eldorado, and Commercial Chassis. This is a specialized distributor for a specific two-year production window. Buyers with 1964–1965 Cadillac 429 applications should confirm compatibility with TSP before ordering, as the distributor architecture may differ between early and late 429 production years.

The Pro Series design uses an external ignition coil, giving you flexibility to run a coil matched to your build level. A minimum coil output of 35,000 volts is required — coil is not included. Three advance bushings and four advance springs are included, allowing the mechanical advance curve to be tuned for your engine's camshaft profile, compression ratio, and carburetor calibration. A vacuum advance block-off plate is included for performance builds where vacuum advance is not desired. A tachometer output extension cable is included for straightforward aftermarket tach wiring.

The Pro Series Ready-to-Run replaces the entire factory points and condenser system with a circuit board module and magnetic pickup trigger that holds timing accurately without routine maintenance.
