The Pro Series design uses a circuit board module with magnetic pick-up trigger — a step up from standard contact points or basic reluctor setups — providing precise, consistent spark timing across the RPM range. Mechanical and vacuum advance give you direct, tunable control over ignition timing, making this distributor well-suited for carbureted builds, carburetor conversion projects, and performance street applications on the GM 90° V6 engine family.

The clockwise-rotation distributor is built around a machined aluminum housing with a steel gear and produces 35,000+ volts through an external coil. With a ready-to-run configuration, wiring is simplified — connect power and ground, set your timing, and the distributor is operational without additional ignition modules. The steel gear is most compatible with cast iron hydraulic or solid flat-tappet camshafts; consult your camshaft manufacturer if your build uses a roller or specialty cam.
